She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chase and Ruth Gunby; and her sister Doretta Louis. She is survived by: her children, Charles Duncan (Diane), Colen Hyland, Catricee Duncan and Arlese Barker; her siblings, William Chase, Iris Puckham (Victor), Kathryn V. Bolden and Amanda Horsey; and her aunt Lavern Guthrie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
