She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Eskridge and Elizabeth Bounds Eskridge; her husband William E. Hitchens; her siblings, Danny Eskridge and Rosalee Gustin; and her niece Jill Hickman.
She is survived by: her brothers, David Eskridge of Seaford and William Eskridge of Seaford. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
