He was predeceased by: his parents, Bassett "Happy" and Georgia Brittingham (Cropper). He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Brittingham; his children, Sandra Orash (Ron) of Bishopville, MD, James B. Brittingham (Tabatha) of Laurel and John S. Brittingham (Colleen) of Laurel; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Erin, Brittney, Marie and Marisa; and his aunt Christine Walston. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
