He is survived by: his wife Melanie McLaren; his daughter Carol Anne Holt (Alan); his grandsons, Andrew Holt and Forrest Holt; his great grandchild Emmett Holt; and his sisters, Gladys McLaren, Alice McKinnon and Hilda McDonald.
