He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Knowles and Mary Knowles; and his children, Michael Lee Knowles and Tanya Grey. He is survived by: his close friend Norma Franklin; his children, Steven J. Knowles (Jamie), Gary Franklin III, Tara Callaway (Ron), Stephanie Bennett and Heather Bennett; and his siblings, Rob Knowles, Billy Knowles and Cheryl Dryden. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
