It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Betts (Greenwood, Delaware), born in Harrington, Delaware, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William T.; her former husbands, Raymond Nichols, Sr. and William Woodard; her husband George Frank Betts; her grandson Rob Reed, Jr.; and her sisters, Jane Carpenter, Evelyn Layton and Ann Jump.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Nichols, Jr. (Debbie) and Sharon Reed; her sisters, Mary Pitlick and Audrey Zeitler; and her grandchildren, Travis Nichols, Eric Nichols, Shelby Reed, Michele Messick and Sherry Feltz. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
