Rosalie M. Shields Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie M. Shields of Frederica, Delaware, born in Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thomas and Julia J. Thomas; and her sister Paula Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Peter D. Shields, Sr. (Pete) of Frederica; her sons, Peter "Dave" D. Shields, Jr. (Tammy) of Frederica, Timothy "Tim" Shields (Dawn) of Smyrna and Martin "Marty" Shields (Sheila) of Lincoln; her granddaughters, Rachael Shields, Rebecca Shields, Elizabeth Shields, Amber Wechtenhiser (Nick) and Ashlee Taylor (Jorden); and her great grandchildren, Kyren, Kasen, Abby, Cole, Arya and Parker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 416 Williams Street, Suite 101, Milford DE.
