He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Perry Mosley and Kermit Mosley; his wife Joyce Bateman Mosley; his son Bruce Mosley; his wife Jean Taylor Mosley; his siblings, Pearl Baker, Doris Spencer, Donald Mosley, Kenneth Mosley, Charles Mosley and Randall Mosley; and his siblings-in-law, Lucille Mosley, Alvin Bateman, Alexander Spencer and William Gould.
He is survived by: his sons, Nelson Mosley Jr. (Jayna) and Kermit Mosley (Candy); his stepchildren, Dennis Tolson (Shirlna), Bruce Tolson (Cynthia), Darryl Tolson (Sharon) and Marcella Jones (Russell); his siblings, James Mosley (Joy), Richard Mosley (Doris), Ellen Scarborough (James), Joyce Gould and Darlene Barnes (George); and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Taylor Sr. (Agnes), Curtis Baker, Jeanette Norwood, Ruth McMillion, Novella Taylor, Margaret Mosley and Paula Mosley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
