She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart "Doc" Clayton Blanchard and Lula Gregg Blanchard (Evans); and her husband James L. Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Quigley of Tampa, Robert Thompson (Jodi) of Phoenix and Stephen Thompson; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hurd-Nichols, Kathryn Nichols, Conor, Alison Quigley, Aiden, Liam and Natalie Thompson; her granddaughter-in-law Beth Hurd-Nichols; and her brother Hobart "Corky" Blanchard (Mary) of Maryland.
