She is survived by: her husband John F Dixon, Jr.; her children, Brenda Melson (Paul), John Dixon (Missy) of Henderson, MD and Jeff Dixon of Felton, DE; her grandchildren, Jonathan Dixon, Amy Melson, Sara Brenneman (Matthew), Hunter Dixon and Noah Dixon; and her siblings, Frank Sharpnack, Mary Ellen Jackson, William C. Sharpnack, Jr. and Alice Dixon.
