Audrea Schmid Knable Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Audrea Schmid Knable (Dover, Delaware), born in Port Chester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schmid and Lillian Schmid; her husband Gerald Joseph Knable; and her brothers, Allen and Lloyd Schmid.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lesley Louder (Darrell) of St Louis and Elise Knable (Jason Coffin) of Camden, DE; her sister Lois Howell of Birmingham, AL; and her grandchildren, Ethan and Caitlyn Louder. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Lynn's devotion to helping Vocational Education students transition to the community, the Knable Next Step Scholarship Fund has been established.
