He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lee Cox; his sons, Michael Stephen Cox (Jennifer) and Richard Keith Cox, Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, William, Brooklynn and Caleb Cox; and his brothers, Vernon Brittingham (Betty) and Kenneth Cox (Maryanne).
