It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lida Katherine Horne (Delmar, Delaware), born in Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Agnes Kinnikin (Massey) and Clarence Paul Kinnikin; her husband Reverend Leonard A. Horne; and her grandson Brian Davidson. She is survived by: her children, Valerie E. Ellis (Frank) of Catonsville, Karen E. Somers (John Lawrence, III) of Marion Station and Tim Horne (Christine) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Paul Horne, Justin Horne (Michelle), Casey Best and Megan Williams (Scott); her great grandchildren, Savannah Davidson, Kayla Simmons, Fantasy Hopkins, Lily Best, Lani Best, Cheyanne Best, Zoey Best, Cash Williams and Riley Williams; her great great grandchildren, Avery Kalb and Addie Aydelotte; and her siblings, Floyd Massey (Barbara) and Dorotha Shupe. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
