It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine S. Dukes of Delmar, Delaware, born in Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Scott and Sadie Mae Scott (Moore); her husband Gene T. Dukes; her daughter Sandra Helms; and her brother Calvin Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Parsons (Manford) of Laurel and George H. Dukes of Bridgeville; her grandchildren, Scott Dukes, Cody Graham, Gene Dukes, Shannon Harris, Stacey Dukes, Michael Parsons and Kristin Perdue; and her sisters, Eleanor Hudson and Mary Clifton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
