He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thomas West and Bessie Gertrude West (Hastings); his siblings, Marion Jacob West, Roy Edward West and Hattie Gertrude Tingle; and his son-in-law Dennis Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia R. West (Layfield); his daughter Carolyn M. Ross (Pat Berlien); his grandchildren, Troy Luffman and Mackenzie Truitt (Melvin); his great grandchildren, Miranda, Amanda, Dakota, Kyle, Jess and Madison; his great great grandchildren, Dallas, Delaney, Peyton and Autumn; and his great grandchild Abby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
