He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred E. Hudson and Pearl M. Hudson (Bunting); his son Aaron B. "Bull" Hudson; his grandchildren, Wesley Riley, Jr., Christine Riley and Christopher Riley; and his siblings, Halton, Oerie, Dale Hudson, Millie Jones and Fredonia Hudson.

He is survived by: his wife Bonita Dennis Hudson; his children, Lisa M. Riley of Delmar and David E. Hudson of Delmar; his grandchildren, Taylor A. Riley, Payge Hudson and Chase Hudson; and his siblings, Norris Hudson of Frederica, Wilsie Donahue of Dagsboro and Angeline Timmons of Millsboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
