She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Lee; her husband Quinn R. Kite; her son Kevin R. Kite; and her brothers, Leon McGowan and Charles McGowan.

She is survived by: her parent Della Emma McGowan (Williamson); her daughter Tracey Ludlam (Louie); her siblings, Barney McGowan (Brenda) and Margaret Buckson; her daughter-in-law Elaine Kite; her grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Amanda Melvin, Alexis Ludlam, Delanie Kite and Caitlin Orr; her great grandchildren, Landon Johnson, Logan Johnson, Gage Melvin and Addyson Melvin; and her friend Eleanor Sutton.
