Jean Mayes Sneed Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2020, at the age of 94, Jean Mayes Sneed (Clayton, Delaware), born in Finedon, East Midlands passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Mayes and Beatrice Skinner Mayes; her husband James Sneed; and her children, Jeanette Zaun Dougherty and Allan Sneed.
She is survived by: her friend Gloria; her daughters, Debbie Sneed of Clayton and Amy Gibson (Scott) of Felton; her adoptive daughter Stephanie Ryan of Clayton; her grandchildren, Susan Flemming (Dana), Jennifer Kemp (Jim), Michael Dougherty (Samantha), Elijah and Ian Gibson; and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Brandon, Hunter, Abby, Becky and Michelle.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 or First State Animal Shelter and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
