It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Newton (Clayton, Delaware), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on June 6, 2018, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Irving Newton; and his sister Joann Lynn Carper (Newton). He is survived by: his parent Florence Julia Gilmore (Grimes); his significant other James Rhoades; his sister Darlene Ellen Porter (Newton) of Dundalk; his niece Darla Miller (Kenneth) of Gettysburg; his nephew Jeffrey Dean Porter, Jr.; his wife Heather Porter of Shippenburg; his uncle Junior Grimes of Patapsco; his aunt Betty Selby (Grimes) of Westminster; his friend Gus Gerontakos; and also Joseph Allen Porter of Dundalk. He is also survived by numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is seeking donations to Faries Funeral Home, 29 S. Main Street, Smyrna, DE 19977 to help defray funeral expenses.
