It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Soyden of Woodstock, Connecticut, born in Swampscott, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Joseph Soyden; her parents, Rufus Hartford and Hattie Hartford (Farnum); her grandson Trevor Renaud; and her siblings, Charles, Lyle and Enid.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Soyden (Jacqueline) of Dracut, MA, Ronald Soyden (Michele) of Brooklyn, CT and Gail Renaud (David) of Woodstock, CT; her sister Avis Howard of Wareham, MA; her grandchildren, Sharon Soyden-LaRoche, Tracey Dunn, Kristen Soyden, Stephen Soyden and Jennifer Soyden; and her great grandchildren, Patrick Dunn, Jacob Hall, Ethan Dunn, Haylee Renaud, Timothy Engstrume and Zachary Renaud. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
