It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Balchunas (Wolcott, Connecticut), who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Balchunas; her parents, Joseph Stokna and Monica Stokna (Kleiva); her daughter Therese MacDonald; and her siblings, Peter Stokna, Anna Sabotka, Margaret Swerbitowicz, Mary Kazlauskas, Monica Kosarcik and Josephine Gorman.
She is survived by: her children, John Balchunas of St. Paul, MN, Anna of Waterbury and Margaret Balchunas of Waterbury; her son-in-law Robert MacDonald of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Jonathon, Daniel MacDonald, Jessica Balchunas and Jennifer Scasino (Balchunas); and her great grandchild Marie.
