It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald J. Gawitt (Wolcott, Connecticut), who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Elvira "Veta" Gawitt; his son Douglas Gawitt; his daughter-in-law Kelly Gawitt; his grandchildren, Ty, Joy and Lyla Gawitt; his brother William Gawitt; and his sister-in-law Marilyn of Bristol. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to the Wolcott Volunteer Fire Dept.
