He was predeceased by: his sisters, Florence Vogel Shankman, Edith Vogel Dworkin and Sylvia Vogel Halpern; and his niece Marcia Halpern Ives. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Susan Shankman Semchuk (Myron), Jeanne Dworkin Schwartz (Stephen), Martin Shankman (Phyllis Eldridge), Robert Shankman, Arthur Halpern, Leah Shankman Aizen (Ron), Stewart Shankman (Alexandra), Vincent Ives Jr. (Katy), Marianne Semchuk (Anthony Danler) and Anne Marie Semchuk (Eddie Donnelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many cousins.
