It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ismat Begum of Westport, Connecticut, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lt. Colonel Mohammad and Begum Aslam Khan. She is survived by: her children, Farrah Christensen (Hans) of Westport, CT and Syed Daniyal Shah (Shazia); and her sisters, Durdana Shahzad (Shahzad Khan), Salma Ayaz Khan and Nasira Yameen Ahmed (Yameen Ahmed). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
