He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Van Zandt (Posie); his parents, George Simson and Edith Simson; his children, Deborah Nicholson (James) of St. Louis Park, MN, Ann Watkins (John) of Fairfield, Nancy Simson (Natalie) and Barrett Simson (Rose) of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Michael Nicholson (Molly), Brian Nicholson (Stephanie), John, Thomas (Jennifer), David Watkins, Elizabeth Simson and Heather Simson; his stepgrandchildren, Robert Brewster (Kerry) and Vanessa Brewster; his great grandchildren, Claire, Beckham and Cameran; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ian, Jack, Laney and Ramona. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
