She was predeceased by: her father Albert L. Lanphear; her siblings, Richard Lanphear (Van), Alfred Lanphear (Beulah), Wayne Lanphear (Pat), Dale Lanphear (Sally), Francese Cochran (Wilfred), Ruth Lamell (Edward), Gloria Godfrey (Richard), Verlie Tillotson (Wallace) and Marion Houghton (Harold); her granddaughter Sharon Lynn Ponusky; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Spaulding and Leslie Ainsworth.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Neis Jr. (Patricia) of West Suffield, CT and Deborah Arquette of Tucson, AZ; her sisters, Sybil Ainsworth of Vermont and Dorothy Spaulding of Vermont; her grandchildren, Cindy Porter (Robert), Brett Ponusky (Angela), Richard Neis III (Ashley), Kristen Clapp (David) of Southwick, MA and Brittany Neis of Springfield, MA; and her friends, Collin Avery and Roger Connor. She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren, many other family members and friends.
