The passing of Rosemarie J. Gibbons of West Haven, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matteo Casanova and Carmela Casanova (Vernucci); her husband John Gibbons of Michael's Church; and her sister Florence Schroeder. She is survived by: her children, John Gibbons (Connie Wynne) of Framingham, MA and Lorraine DiMarzo (Patrick Turner) of West Haven; her grandchildren, Jimi DiMarzo, Lena Barragan (Carlos Barragan), Lindsay Gibbons, Ryan Gibbons, Grace Gibbons, Elizabeth Gibbons and Jake Gibbons; her great grandchild Laurelai Barragan; and her siblings, Lorraine Tagliatella (Tony) and Vincent Casanova. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keenan Funeral Home (238 Elm St, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the St. Lawrence Cemetery (280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
