He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney D. Sr. Stocking and Lauretta Stocking (Kopp); and his brother Robert Stocking. He is survived by: his wife Janet Stocking (Lavoie); his children, Michael Doring of Southbury, Christopher Doring (Rebecca) of Cornwall, Mary Ruane (Colin) of Bristol and Ashley Perras (Zachary) of Del Rio, Texas.; his brother Paul Stocking Sr. (Sharon) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Dahnielle and Logan Doring; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Amelia and Regalado.
