Rosemary V. Garretson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary V. Garretson of Watertown, Connecticut, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her parents, Dennis Verzole and Marjory Verzole; and her siblings, Louis, Dennis, William, Bernard, Elizabeth and Thelma.
She is survived by: her sons, William Garretson (Elaine) of Thomaston and Michael Garretson (Rita) of Sugarland, TX; her grandchildren, James "Zack" Garretson of Canaan, Chelsea Ross (Matt) of Avon, Catherine Bilnoski (Jim) of Tacoma, WA, Michael "Em" Garretson of Houston, TX, Jeremy Vermette (Lisa Chapin) of Middletown and Aaron Spencer (Brienna Reitmayr) of Bristol; her great grandchildren, Nola Ross, Pax Ross, Moriah Vermette (Aaron Caviasca), Nevya Vermette and Audrey Spencer; her great great grandchild Kennedy Caviasca; her siblings, Marjory Donovan of Syracuse, NY and John "Doug" Verzole (Josephine) of Canastota, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Fralick of Naples, FL and Louise Flegal of Baldwinsville, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours, and due to COVID a private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
