It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Olson of Watertown, Connecticut, born in Oakville, Connecticut, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julia Olson (Carey) and Arthur Clarence Olson; his wife Laura; and his daughters, Judith Boss (Ben) of Bomoseen, VT, Laura Hicks of Waterbury, CT, Ellen Thomas (Richard) of Plainville, CT and Dawn Hinman (George) of Oakville, CT.. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the current rise in the COVID-19 infection rate, there will be a service to honor Robert held and announced later in 2021.
To honor Robert's memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name to a local blood bank are encouraged and appreciated.
