Loren Kahn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loren Kahn (Watertown, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Naomi Kahn (Letsky); and his brothers-in-law, David Furchtgott and Angelo Mancini. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kahn (Ptacosky); his sisters, Paisley Kahn George of Santa Barbara, CA. and Aviva Kahn Furchtgott of Oak Park, IL.; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Mancini; his nephew Michael Furchtgott (Kelly); his nieces, Lisa Furchtgott, Carin Mancini, Beth Goldsnider (Craig) and Janice Mals (Ron); his cousins, Robin, Peggy and Gary; and his close friends, Gemma and Bosco. He is also survived by four great nephews.
A celebration of Loren's life will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 1:00PM at Hickcox Funeral Home located at 195 Main Street, Watertown, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Loren's honor can be made to: Doctors Without Borders USA, PO Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD. 21741-5030 or to Steep Rock Association, PO Box 279, Washington Depot, CT. 06794.
