Lois Emma Nemet Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2020, at the age of 88, Lois Emma Nemet of Watertown, Connecticut, born in New Milford, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Emma Nemet to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Nemet; her parents, Hubert Piper and Beatrice Piper (Ash); and her sister Betty Pernell. She is survived by: her brother Hubert Piper III of Naugatuck; her children, Raymond (Shirley Stewart) of Waterbury, Sandra Stewart of Waterbury, Gayle (Bruce Gourley) of Waterbury and Susan (Paul Cross); her grandchildren, Alex, Sam of Watertown and Nancy (Dominic Fraioli); her great grandchildren, Genia and William of Wolcott; and her grandchild Thomas Nemet of Cheshire.
Calling hours will be held Sat, June 13, 4-5 p. m. for immediate family and 5-6 p. m. for friends at the Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and masks will be required and attendees are asked to exit the building after paying their respects so others may do the same.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prospect Congregational Church Capital Campaign Fund.
