He is survived by: his wife Janet Barbieri (Vasilakos); his children, Jacqueline Juan of Watertown, Joseph Barbieri (Sue) of Old Saybrook, Janet Hubert (William) of Woodbury and Jennifer Rogers of Oakville; his sister Joan Brown of Wolcott; and his grandchildren, Richard Juan III (Felicia), Stephanie Juan, Jamie St. Pierre, Joseph Barbieri Jr. (Samantha), Elleyana Barbieri, Mitchell Hubert, Maxwell Hubert, Mariah Hubert, Grace Rogers and Richard Rogers.
