We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2020, at the age of 93, Francis Wheelahan of Watertown, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Gauthier Wheelahan; his parents, Francis Sr. Wheelahan and Jane Wheelahan (Tappan); and his daughter Susan Jane. He is survived by: his children, Francis Wheelahan III (Deborah) of Watertown, Amy Matteau (Dennis) of Waterbury and Katharine Granger (Ed) of John's Island, SC.; his brother John Wheelahan (Jacqueline) of Watertown; and his sister-in-law Gloria Giuditta of Watertown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit with his family, at a "walk-through visitation" following all applicable state COVID #19 guideline on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 5:00 till 7:00 p. m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT 06779.
