Dorothy M. Collins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Collins of Watertown, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Collins, Jr.; her parents, Charles Buren and Nellie Van Buren (Johnson); and her siblings, Winnie Brammer, Jimmy, Richard, Ellsworth, Russell and Raymond Van Buren.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Collins (Gina) of Watertown and Diane E. Chere (Greg) of Watertown; her brother Robert Van Buren (Evelyn) of Watertown; her grandchildren, Greg Chere (Jenny), Justin Chere, Tim Collins and Mary Collins (John Jakubczyk); and her great grandchildren, Alice, Jack Jakubczyk and Caleb Chere. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tues., 10 a. m. in Evergreen Cemetery, 183 North St., Masks and social distancing are required.
