He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen Anne Leisring (Rasmusson); his parents, Samuel and Lois Leisring Sr. (Stephens); his children, Nancy Harrell (Charles) of Watertown and Professor Steve Leisring (Paulina Leisring) of Lawrence, Kansas; his brother Samuel Leisring Jr. (Marsha) of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Dr. Sean Harrell (Jessica) of West Orange, NJ and Jessica Harrell of Missoula, MT; his great grandchildren, Michael and Anna Harrell; and his sisters, Betty Sidella (Leisring) and Shirley Sarasin (Leisring). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions earmarked "Church School" may be made to the First Congregational Church, 40 DeForest St., Watertown, 06795.
