She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Louis and Anna Mae Apanavich; her husband Dominick; her son Michael; her siblings, Lynn Mae Bellomy (Frank) of West Virginia, Nancy Willets of Connecticut, James Apanavich (Carol) of Connecticut and Mary Guirguis (Nabil) of Florida; her parents-in-law, Dominick, Sr. and Eileen Derasmo of Watertown, CT; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Derasmo (Lisa) of Watertown, CT, Kristin Perugini (Anthony) of Wolcott, CT, John Derasmo of Waterbury, CT and Stephen Derasmo of Waterbury, CT. She was also cherished by 8 nieces, and 6 nephews and 9 grandnieces and 4 grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested in Charlene's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
