With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Kenausis of Watertown, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Kenausis; and her parents, Tomasso Lepore and Nellie Lepore (Nester). She is survived by: her daughters, Ronna Palmieri (Richard) of Waterbury and Lisa Pescetelli (Robert) of Watertown; her grandchildren, Matthew (Elizabeth Martin) and Lauren Palmieri (Thomas Fritsch); and her great grandchildren, Noa, Tess Palmieri and Ruby Fritsch.

“Dear Ronna & Lisa, I was so very sad to hear of your mom’s passing but at the same time happy to know she is finally at peace. She fought a tough battle and suffered for a long time. Although we didn’t see eachother often, I felt a strong connection with her. Maybe because she was my Godmother & Mom’s dearest friend for so many years. Today, Dad said (@ 92 years old!) he can still picture the 2 of them walking together with Ronna & Michelle in strollers. Please know you’re in my prayers. XO”
