It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Wood (Waterford, Connecticut), born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence; and his brothers, Randy and Gary. He is survived by: his spouse Katherine Johnson; his mother Pearl; his children, Shannon, Brittany, Brandon and Bridget; his grandchildren, Natalya, Tanner and Owen; his sisters, Rita Montgomery, Sharon Carpenter (George), Linda Carpenter (Dennis) and Debbie Steencamp; his mother-in-law Marion S. Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Jay Johnson and Annemarie Corcoran (Mike).
