It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Murphy Carty of Waterford, Connecticut, born in Dighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Louise (Walsh) and James Bower Murphy, Sr.. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas J. Carty Jr.; her son Thomas J. Carty III (Rosamaria Leon Carty); her brother James B. Murphy Jr. (Joan); and her nieces, Kara Pavao (Murphy), Katherine Murphy and Jennifer Carter (Murphy).
