It is with great sadness that we announce the death of August George Nunes (Waterford, Connecticut), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on May 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandson Muscular Dystrophy; his daughter Kathleen Nunes Peterson; his son-in-law David of Waterford; his brothers, Robert A. Nunes (June) of Groton and Thomas C. Nunes (Jackie) of Uncasville; and his grandchildren, Justin Barczak, Eric Peterson (Kristen), Melissa Peterson and Stephanie Livingston. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
