He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Maris and Vivian Maris (Brown); his spouse America "Mery" Maris; his daughter Tamara Jurson; his brother Richard Maris; his cousin Cornelius Maris; his former wife Betty Jo Maris (Bowers); and his brother Gerrit Maris.
