He was predeceased by: his wife Jennie Tonzola (Carrea); his parents, Vincent Johnson and Helen Johnson (Cox); and his brothers, Vincent Johnson and William Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Johnson of New Jersey and Kathleen Whitlow (Jesse) of Virginia; his stepdaughters, Dr. Denise Tonzola (John Epprecht) of Connecticut and Janice Maye (Peter) of Connecticut; and his siblings, Michelle Soucy and Eric Johnson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
