She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Grabowski Monroe and Joseph Monroe; and her siblings, Elizabeth Monroe and Joseph Monroe. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Barbara Skutt Monroe of Torrington; her nephews, Joseph, Gerard, James, John and Jeffery Monroe; and her niece Barbara Brazeau.
