She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Zaleski and Teofilia Zaleski; and her siblings, Stanley, Sophie (Hamele), Josephine (Sadowy), Rose (Newhall) and Helen (Stoffan).

She is survived by: her children, Shawn Howard of Torrington and Leslie Howard of Hamden; and her husband Robert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
