It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Francis Smedick Jr. of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Smedick, Sr. and Carmella "Mollie" Smedick (Sabia); and his son Daniel F. Smedick, III. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ann Smedick (Bauer); his son David (Denise) of Port St; his grandson Brian (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Mallory and Isla of Denver, NC; his grandson David Jr. (Jerin); his great grandchildren, Salma and Aliya of Woodland Hills, CA; and his sister Beatrice Pontelandolfo of Southbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
