He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Piché and Annette Piché (Rochefort). He is survived by: his wife Janice Piché (Hamel); his daughter Carolyn Piché; his grandson Dylan McCarthy; his siblings, Robert Piché (Mary) and Madeleine Ruggiero; and his nieces, Nancy Schulze and Mary-Alice Conner.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Church (1 E Main St, Thomaston, CT 06787).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Rene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
