He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Eric Pelz (Kristin) of Terryville, Susan Cornish of Litchfield, Patricia Dauten (Peter) of Litchfield and Ellen Benson (Philip) of Harwinton; his sister Barbara; his brother-in-law Robert Beatty; his grandchildren, Samantha Burns, Joseph (Olivia Benson), Lisa (Peter Dauten) and Emily (Adam Pelz); his cousins, Babbete Stumpf of Prospect and Sigfred Pelz (Ellen); and his friend Walter Kramarz.
