He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Smith; his children, Christopher Leidel (Shelly) of New Britain, John Leidel of New Britain, Shawn Leidel of New Britain and Jessica Leidel of New Britain; his stepdaughters, Sandra Tyler and Rebecca Lestoric (Michael) of Terryville; his siblings, David Leidel, Brian Rathbun (Lisa) of Bristol, James Rathbun (Shelley) of Farmington, NH, Brenda Stedman (Wayne) of New Britain and Tami Wiley (Ricky) of New Britain; and his grandson Jack Rioux. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
