He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Thomas A. Sportini; his wife Dorothy; his sons, Thomas Sportini (Karen) of Stratford and Jay Sportini (Kara) of Milford; his grandchildren, Thomas II (Faye), Matthias (Melissa), Aimee, Emily Dorothy, Sarah and Christopher Sportini; and his great grandchildren, Tommy III, Olivia and Nicholas Sportini.
